A Quiet Return

It’s been a while — two years, to be exact. I’ve wanted to come back so many times but didn’t quite know where to start. Today, with the first snow of the season, I stepped outside and saw the fresh, fluffy snow and sunlight peeking through the last of the fall trees. I felt a gentle nudge: begin again.

I don’t have a perfect plan or even know what it will all look like. Honestly, that’s what has kept me from moving forward — I tend to overthink, and then I shut down.

Thank God for His grace and love. I have a heart that’s ready to share again — little reflections, small encouragements, and reminders that grace still finds us right where we are, no matter the season.

If you’ve ever paused something you loved and felt scared to start again, this is your reminder that it’s okay. You don’t have to have everything together. You just have to be willing — willing to let God work through you and shine bright for Him.

So, welcome back to The Encouraged Bee. I changed the name from Life with BK because this feels truer to the vision God placed in my heart. (Shoutout to my sister-in-law for the inspiration 🐝).

This space was created with one hope: that you’ll find light, peace, and encouragement for whatever season you’re in. I’ve always loved the verse, “Perhaps this is the moment for which you were created.” — Esther 4:14. It reminds me that God can use every moment — the quiet mornings, the messy days, and even the small/big acts of faith — to make something beautiful.

Here you’ll find glimpses of everyday life, reflections on God’s goodness, and gentle reminders that you are never walking alone. Jesus meets us in the messiness of life — the errands, the laughter, and the tears — bringing joy and purpose to every moment.

This is my new vision as I move forward with this blog and social media. Thank you for being part of this journey with me. Here’s to new beginnings, faith, and finding beauty in every season.
